ecoCompute Conference 2025: Rethinking Sustainability and Digitalization Together

Digital infrastructures consume significant resources—from CO₂ emissions generated by data centers and end devices to the use of rare raw materials in hardware production. The EcoCompute Conference provides a platform for experts in hardware and software development, IT operations, and research to collaboratively explore pathways toward a more resource-efficient IT landscape.

In addition to keynote speeches and workshops, the event emphasizes interdisciplinary exchange and hands-on solutions. It takes into account not only technological advancements but also regulatory and ethical frameworks. This year, the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. is co-organizing the conference, which will take place at bUm – Raum für solidarisches Miteinander in Berlin.
